Another case of measles in our local area! Vaccination is the best way to prevent cases of measles. And as a reminder, we are a practice that believes in vaccines and accept families, including new families to the practice, that believe in the science behind vaccines as well!

Officials are determining if the child spread measles at two hospitals, a doctor's office, a mall, a coffee shop, a pharmacy and a restaurant.

A new Barbie doll that represents those children with Type 1 diabetes. Way to go Barbie!

Mattel has introduced its first Barbie doll with representing someone with Type 1 diabetes. The doll, part of the Fashionistas line, includes realistic medical accessories like a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump — as well as an outfit that pays homage to diabetes awareness.
