We just want to thank everyone who so generously took a name from our Giving Tree! We will be handing out the presents next week to each of our residents. I am very proud of our community that every single name was taken so every resident will get their own personal gift of things they asked for.
I also want to send out a very special thank you to the Methodist Church ladies for your gifts to the residents.
To the Pine Ridge Job Corps for the amazing handmade cards specialized for each resident.
Deb Kuskie and Patty Chasek for the handmade gifts-they are so special.
We got handmade cards from the JJ Harris Elementary School in Athens Georgia.
Every resident received a tin of cookies from a special Angel.

🎄 Thank You, Farm to Family! 🎄

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Farm to Family for catering our staff Christmas party. The food was absolutely wonderful, and everything was prepared and presented beautifully.

Our team truly enjoyed the meal, and it added so much to making our celebration special. Farm to Family did a fabulous job, and we are grateful for the care, quality, and attention they put into every detail.

Thank you for helping us celebrate our staff and for being such a great partner in our community — we truly appreciate you!

Congratulations to Krystyn Turman for 25 years at Pioneer Manor!

I have dedicated just over two decades to the field of Long Term Care, all of which has been spent at Pioneer Manor. My journey in healthcare began at the age of 16 when I took the CNA class, marking the start of a fulfilling career committed to providing compassionate care. I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Pioneer Manor from 2000 to 2007, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and developing a deep understanding of the needs of our residents.
In 2007, I graduated from Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) school and continued to serve at Pioneer Manor as an LPN until 2009, further expanding my clinical expertise. It was also during this time that I transitioned into the role of Business Office Manager, where I gained critical experience in administration and management, contributing to the operational success of the facility.
Driven by a desire to take on greater leadership responsibilities, I began pursuing Administrator classes in 2009. In 2013, I graduated as an Administrator of Long Term Care, and in February 2014, I was honored to take over as the Administrator of Pioneer Manor.
Today, I proudly serve as the Administrator at Pioneer Manor, overseeing the delivery of quality care while maintaining a supportive and efficient environment for both residents and staff. My career has allowed me to grow within this remarkable facility, and I remain deeply committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve, backed by years of experience and a deep personal connection to our mission.
