Meet Lori, one of our compassionate advocates who walks alongside clients during their appointments.

Lori describes her role at Open Arms as supporting women through a variety of life circumstances, offering encouragement, care, and a listening ear. She values the opportunity to walk with each woman, share the love of Jesus, and provide support in a meaningful and personal way.

After the overturning of Roe v. Wade, Lori noticed many young women carrying anger and uncertainty. She felt led to get involved with a faith-based pregnancy medical clinic, where she could meet women with compassion and truth.

Originally from California, Lori moved to the area in 2021. She is married and has two adult sons. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and baking sourdough. She is passionate about her faith, her family, and living a healthy lifestyle.

She has a long list of places she would like to travel to, including Portugal, Banff National Park, and Kelowna in British Columbia. One of her dreams is to take her whole family—including her future daughter-in-law—to Disneyland.

We would like to recognize Lori for the joy she brings to her advocacy and her heart to share the love of Jesus with every woman she serves.

Meet Diane, Our Director of Client Services
Diane serves as our Director of Client Services, overseeing the care our clients receive beyond the medical aspects of their appointments. She helps ensure appointments run smoothly by coordinating scheduling and client flow while working closely with our Director of Nursing. Diane also trains our advocate team and helps maintain high-quality client services through ongoing education and resources.
Diane felt called to work in a place that is doing Kingdom work. Her own experience as a teen mom shaped her heart for supporting young women facing unexpected pregnancies. She is passionate about coming alongside those who choose life for their child and ensuring they receive accurate information and compassionate support.
“Unborn babies are the most vulnerable,” Diane shares. Her heart for families also extends to the fathers who visit the clinic. Our support services are available to dads as well, helping strengthen families and encourage them according to God’s design.
Outside of work, Diane enjoys gardening, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. She loves being with her family—her husband, three children, and two granddaughters.
Diane is passionate about serving the Lord, seeing lives transformed, and pursuing a healthy lifestyle.
One day, she hopes to travel more and visit places like Washington, D.C., Israel, Italy, and Greece. She has participated in several mission trips in the past and would love the opportunity to go on more in the future.
We’re grateful for Diane’s heart for families and the care she brings to every client who walks through our doors.

Sometimes God works through the most unexpected circumstances.

A woman recently scheduled an appointment with our clinic through a late-night online chat system but later tried to cancel because she decided to Washington instead. Due to a technical glitch, the cancellation didn’t go through and when she called to confirm, our caring staff member spoke with her.

By the end of the conversation, she decided to come in anyway.

Today, she has shared that she has chosen life for her preborn baby.

Technology helped connect her to us, but compassion, prayer, and community made the difference.
Please pray for this brave woman and her baby, that the love she experienced here and the image she saw on her ultrasound will continue to encourage her.

A Surprising Victory — But the Work Isn’t Over
Recently, Planned Parenthood dropped a lawsuit challenging a provision that revoked its taxpayer funding of abortion. At first glance, the headline sounds like a major victory.
But the reality is more complex. The provision only lasts for one year, and leaders within Planned Parenthood have made it clear that this fight is far from over.
Even when the news feels confusing or overwhelming, one truth remains clear: we cannot stop praying, and we cannot stop standing for life.
While organizations like Planned Parenthood have enormous financial resources and influence, pregnancy medical clinics like Open Arms continue to share something powerful with our community—hope, compassionate care, and life-affirming support for women and families.
Every day, lives are impacted through the work happening here, and it is only possible because of a faithful community who prays, gives, serves, and speaks up.
