At Open Arms, we understand that preparing for parenthood includes learning how to nourish and care for a newborn—especially through breastfeeding. That’s why we offer both pre-birth lactation education and post-birth breastfeeding support to our clients.

Our pre-birth appointments help moms know what to expect and how to initiate breastfeeding right after delivery for the best chance at success. After birth, our nurse and trained lactation consultant provide personalized support, assessing baby’s latch, addressing milk supply concerns, and helping moms navigate any challenges they may face.



Equipping moms with education and encouragement not only supports their breastfeeding journey—it strengthens their confidence as parents. This is just one of the many life-affirming ways Open Arms walks alongside moms who choose life.
