A baby a day keeps the January blues away!!!! We are on a streak! Goodness - this mama barely made it to the birthcenter. With incredible strength, this mama, once again did a beautiful job. Just enough time to get the tub filled for her desired waterbirth. Great start to a busy clinic day.

Even after 30 years I hate missing out on births. Scheduling vacations or getaways are tricky. So it’s super exciting when 11th hour births happen. This cutie was exactly that. Mama popped in and baby popped… and that’s literally the way it happened. SO fast! Mom had only been at the birthcenter for five minutes when baby arrived. I wish I could have captured the look on mom’s face when I walked in the room ( 2 minutes before the birth. ) She was so calm and collected I would have thought the look she gave was as if to say, “why are we even here?!”. It was incredible! Grandma was present, it was her birthday. She was over the moon for her birthday gift. Best gift ever!!!! ❤️

Every baby has their own story. It’s nice when they are predictable and follow a pattern, but no… that would be boring. I wonder how much their personalities play into it. If that’s the case, mom and dad will need an extra dose of patience while raising this cuteness. She will not be in a hurry to do anything. 😂.

First baby of the New Year! She was a fun one. If she is setting the course for the year we will be kept on our toes.
We had lots of warning she was coming that day, but just taking her sweet time. She was easy on mama, in the way contractions were “not bad” said mama. At 7:00 it looked like we still had a good amount of time left. No need to call the team in yet. Ha! 7:15 mama makes a sound that told me something switched. 7:20, yep better call in the troops. 7:30 she was here. No one else made it. Crazy fast. Gotta love the uniqueness of birth.

And Happy New Years Eve!!! This little guy just wanted to wanted to arrive a little early so he could help celebrate the New Years. Or maybe there was some competition as his brother was born on Dad’s birthday. Let’s just say this is a family that loves holidays. Baby came quickly and will ring in the New year with his four siblings. So happy for this sweet family! And now maybe we can all use a little sleep. 😂 Happy New Years!!!! ❤️

Mama was happy to have made it through Christmas and her son’s birthday before this little man showed up. She worked hard for this baby! When babies decide to be sunny side up it’s hard, but this guy was sunny side up and military style (standing like a soldier). I don’t think it gets any harder than this. But mama drew from strength she didn’t even know she had. She did such an amazing job and we are so proud of her.

Merry Christmas Eve… this little guy was so tiny. We were doing all the tests to be sure he was healthy, he was perfect. But he decided to give his parents an early Christmas gift and come months later early. The hospital was hopping, there was almost no room in the inn. We weren’t in any hurry so we took our time getting there to be sure mama had a place. She was determined that he would be born NOT on Christmas Day, so mama got to work and I think with strong determination she set her mind to it and DID It! Little Benedict was born at 11:30pm and though small, he WAS perfect. The family had to celebrate Christmas a day late, but I think they felt that their present of a baby brother was worth it. ❤️

This mama was no stranger to prodromal labor or the emotional surrender it takes to keep believing that baby will arrive. When the day finally came, Mom and Dad arrived at the clinic confident labor was in full swing—only to discover her body wasn’t quite ready yet. She stayed strong, moving between encouraging labor and resting, trusting the process and doing exactly what her body and baby needed. Soon, they welcomed their baby girl into their arms. Miss Helena Marie Quinn joined her two siblings on December 23, arriving just in time to be part of the Christmas festivities.

The call came early, just as this mama knew it was time to head to the clinic—before her five excited little ones even woke up. Determined to keep labor moving, she listened closely to her body and her baby, moving as they needed. Soon, she welcomed Miss Eva Belle into the world, perfectly completing this beautiful family with an even three boys and three girls.

Finally, the day arrived when baby girl decided it was time. Mom and Dad worked so beautifully together—Mama doing the hard work while Dad encouraged her with scripture and prayer. Together, they welcomed sweet June Eleanor into their family. Her two older sisters were overjoyed to meet her and are already so in love.
