Sample Retreat Day

The mornings begin with an optional gentle wakeup yoga session at 8:00, led by Mary, or an early morning forest or coastal walk. After yoga, gather for a traditional Irish breakfast prepared from locally sourced produce. At 9:00, hop on a luxury coach headed for the beautiful local town of Bantry to explore their fair and farmers market. Spend the morning checking out the booths ranging from antiques to traditional foods to local produce. Enjoy lunch at a local café before heading to the other end of town to Bantry House and Garden, a stately home overlooking Bantry Bay. Experience the house with a tour by one of the members of the owning family, descendants of the Earls of Bantry. Spend the afternoon among the beautiful gardens and enjoy tea in their tea room restaurant.

Return to the house in the evening and enjoy a meal prepared by a local Chef. Wind down the evening with a relaxing restorative yoga practice before retiring for the night into a peaceful slumber.
