Front Office Administrator
Pay: $17-$20 DOE

Ascent Counseling is a Mental Health Agency in Hayden, ID. Our providers offer a range of services, including Individual, Couples, and Family Counseling, and Substance Use Disorders Evaluations and Treatment.

We are seeking a full-time Front Office Administrator with experience in the medical or mental health field, potentially working into a management role.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Day-to-Day Functions within the Agency
• First Point of Contact for Patients and Therapists
• Answering Phones & Scheduling
• Screening and Patient Intakes
• Collecting and Processing Co-Pays
• Pulling Charts, Creating Fee Slips, Filing
• Verification of Insurance
• Resolving Patient Concerns
• Periodic Review of Office Policies
• Preparation for Employee Reviews (Clinical Director will conduct)
• Onboarding New Employees
• Scheduling Team and Individual Meetings
• Inventory Management
• Light Bookkeeping
• Maintaining EHR System (Simple Practice)
• Light Office Cleaning

Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree with medical or mental health office experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, grammar, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs, etc. )
• QuickBooks (basic knowledge)
• Maintain confidentiality and exercising discretion with sensitive information
• Excellent Boundaries with Therapists and Patients

Ascent Counseling now has a Certified Life Coach. If you or your loved one don't need traditional counseling and just need a little extra guidance and support, we have a Licensed Master's Level Provider who is also a Certified Health and Fitness Coach, as well as a Certified Life Coach.
