I am so excited to offer Rooted in Rhythm, a weekly space to explore and practice bellydance in community.
This is a photo from over 15 years ago, when I was a baby bellydancer. It reminds me that bellydance lives in the roots of my own pelvic healing journey. And it is my WHY in terms of my motivation to begin teaching bellydance again!
When I look at this photo, I remember that beneath the erotic exterior, I was in extreme physical pelvic pain. Bellydance was pivotal in my healing, and has been central for many of my clients and students to support their healing from a wide variety of chronic structural pain.
It helped me:
✨Find connection to my pelvic bowl
✨Connect intimately with specific muscles and muscle groups to find softness and flexible
✨Notice where and how I was holding tension and how to let it go
✨Cultivate flexibility and stamina that ultimately helped me birth my baby
✨Have fun at a time when life gave me a lot of hurdles
✨Heal the sister wound through connecting in community

We’ll meet Thursdays beginning January 22nd, 2026, from 12:00–12:50 pm (ET).
Class is virtual on Zoom, making it easy to join from wherever you are.
All sessions will be recorded, and you’ll have access to the replays if you can’t make it live or want to revisit the practices.
