We are ringing in the New Year with some exciting news! Next week we have Dr. Lopez joining our team! Please join us in welcoming her!!

Dr. Lopez Chanique was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her love for preventative care arose once she started volunteering at her local shelter and participating in Spay and Neuter clinics while travelling to different municipalities in PR. She attended University of Puerto Rico and Iowa State University for her undergraduate studies and earned her DVM from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Dr.Lopez is bilingual in english and spanish, which allows her to to do what she enjoys most, which is creating relationships with her pet parents and helping them understand the importance of preventative medicine. She currently resides in Gloucester, VA and enjoys spending her time going on adventures with her husband, taking care of her multiple chickens and goats, along with her small chihuahua, Chia, and her two cats Red and Lil Jig.
