foster and adoptive homes. The primary goal of TFC, Inc. is to prepare youth for permanency. Treatment Foster Care families care for the youth needs in their homes and communities, reducing the need for hospitalization and to prevent more restrictive placements. Therapeutic foster care families focus on providing the most normalized, stable, consistent environment that supports the youth’s potential by building on their competencies and strengths in a time-limited period.
