The AIRR Tech Team entered into the Pasture of Ovine Pleasure to partake of the qualities of the auspicious-yet ambiguous eighth animal of the Chinese Lunar Zodiac: The Sheep, also known as The Goat! This noble animal embodies gentleness and creativity and represents the concepts of kind-heartedness and reserve. Those born in the year of the Sheep are considered to be calm and nurturing, and are good-natured and easy to get along with. Lukianos wrote the page with contributions by Catherine Yronwode and Papa Newt. Nagasiva Yronwode sourced the images by Nora Achab, Zeffss, BabySofja, and Kjolak; and Catherine edited the text. The AIRR Tech Team opened the Vault of Wonders to reveal the ancient art of making and wearing Magical Talismans. These powerful objects, also known as as Amulets, Charms, or Lucky Pieces, are small artifacts that are specially crafted and empowered to carry, draw, or amplify a specific personal quality, such as strength or luck; to bring about desired condition, such as sexual attractiveness or gambling wins; or to remove an unwanted condition, such as negativity or the evil eye. They are frequently inscribed with signs, seals, sigils, or words, and they take many forms, from jewelry and pocket charms to paper sigils and seals. Catherine Yronwode, Nagasiva Yronwode, and Miss Bri wrote the page with contribution by Papa Newt. Images were supplied or sourced by Unknown artists and jewelers, Catherine, Miss Michaele, and Prof. Charles Porterfield. The AIRR Tech Team reached beyond the mundane world to conceive a new page on the Crown Chakra or Sahasrara, the Hindu bodily energy center located at the top of the head, which is associated with the link between the cerebrum and the cosmos. The energy of Sahasrara represents spiritual enlightenment and liberation. Papa Newt wrote the page, with contributions by Catherine Yronwode, Lukianos, and Jon Saint Germain. Catherine and Nagasiva Yronwode edited the text, and she and Papa Newt did proofreading and site-wide linking between the chakras and our encyclopedia entries on their corresponding planets, zodiac signs, colours, deities, flowers, herbs, and gemstones. The AIRR Tech Team put on their thinking-caps and inscribed a new web page on Maimonides, also known as Rabbi Moses ben Maimon or by the acronym Rambam. This 12th century Jewish scholar, philosopher, teacher, astronomer, physician, and dietician is considered to be one of the foremost rabbinical sages in Jewish history. His commentaries on the Torah were ground-breaking, his "Guide for the Perplexed" brought Jewish faith and Aristotelian logic into harmony, and his recipes for chicken soup are to die for! Dr. Jeremy Weiss and Catherine Yronwode wrote the page with contributions of site-wide linking by Papa Newt, Nagasiva Yronwode sourced the art by Arthur Burdett, which was then coloured by Andrei Iashin and Catherine. The AIRR Tech Team piloted their magic carpets back in time to celebrate the life and works of Rajah Rabo (born Carl Z. Talbot), an African American numerologist, dream interpreter, psychic reader, rootworker, and spiritual supply shop keeper in New York City from 1932 to 1974. Talbot wrote and published the "5-Star Mutuel Dream Book," the "Pick'Em Dream Book," and his own "Rundown and Workout Book." Along the way he shocked and surprised his readers by giving interpretations for dreams involving homosexuality, prostitution, social injustice, domestic violence, modern warfare, alcoholism, and drug use -- topics never seen in a lucky number dream book before or since. Catherine Yronwode wrote the page, Papa Newt handled the proofreading and made site-wide links, and Nagasiva Yronwode created this graphic announcement from one of Rabo's books.
