My creativity is a fire, but even the best fires need a break from the wind. 🔥
Lately, I’ve been riding a massive wave of creative flow. When the ideas for Vedalachia start coming, I want to chase every single one of them. My passionate side wants to stay “on,” building, dreaming, and doing.
But I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that the “noise” of the modern world—the pings, the scrolls, the constant connection—can quickly turn that creative fire into burnout.
That’s why No-Tech Saturdays with my family are non-negotiable for me. 🌲📵
It’s the day I trade the backlit screen for the sunlight in the trees.
I trade the “creative output” for “soul input.” Being phenomenal at putting down the tech doesn’t mean I don’t love my work; it means I love my peace more.
I’ve realized that my best ideas don’t come while I’m staring at a phone—they come while I’m watching the steam rise off my tea or listening to my family laugh in the other room.
To be a “Vessel,” you have to let yourself be empty for a while.
If you’ve been feeling “scattered” or like your own creative spark is dimming, maybe you don’t need a new idea. Maybe you just need a dial-down. 💨
Try a “Micro-Reset” this week. Pick one hour—just one—to put the phone in a drawer and be fully in your skin. Notice what happens to your thoughts when there’s no noise to compete with them.
I’m back in the “Inhale” phase this week, prepping some beautiful things for May.
But I’m carrying the quiet of no-tech Saturdays with me.
How are you balancing the noise today? 👇✨
