Today Rhet had to have blood work to check his counts. Counts have increased a positive! He has to go back Monday for another blood count.
As of right now he is still very neutropenic, so he will still continue not to be out and about, able to go to school!
Today he has had more energy, eating and finally drinking a lot better!

Update

Prayers was answered, Rhet went through blood transfusion with 1 little concern but quickly figured out, it was nothing! Fluids was given!
About 2 hrs after he started looking better and said he felt some better!
And we got told we could check out! (Discharged)
He is still fragile, with immune system, neutropenic, he will be taking it easy for at least a couple more days!

His words after “TheNewBlood” he says “ Mom I feel different, I feel like a new man!”

He had some awesome special things sent to him! was the biggest smile!

Thank you Jesus!!!
Again and again thank you for your over pouring prayers!
This boy is my hero! He does not stop climbing Mtn’s! That Smile🧡

Last night Rhet slept good, with him still not showing improving symptoms physically, and blood counts have not improved a lot.
He has been dizzy, and still not taking in fluids, causing him still be dehydrated, and not what we wanted he will be having a blood transfusion today, and will be getting fluids.
This will be his 4th transfusion so he is more app to have a reaction, that is why we have tried not to go down the route.

He has kept me busy putting legos together, that is all he had wanted to do. And asking now for more!

Thank you for continuous prayers for our boy! We definitely have felt them.

Rhet was admitted in hospital yesterday with tummy pain, and fever.
Long story short, his counts are not great, he does have a virus (cold) not flu not strep
And with counts not good and he being neutropenic, he has been admitted

This morning Rhet woke up in a great mood slept very good! Just really no get up and go energy. He has ate some
But is not taking any fluids in by mouth, and counts are off , chemo meds are on hold, and blood transfusion, is on a maybe.
We will know more in a couple of hrs!

Sorry couple days late!

We got to stay at the Ronald McDonald House, last night which is such a blessing! We got to wake up this morning not have to pack up and everything we got to get up and walk over to the hospital!

Rhet had a good morning with an awesome attitude! He had spinal tap with some complications when put to sleep this time! I just think his poor body is tired of being put to sleep, and port chemo, which is rough in general. We have had some concerns was able to speak with his primary Physician, and have gotten information/ plan and hopefully will be able to address the concerns! For the first time in a while his blood work came back good! Meaning the increase chemo is on the right track.
He gave out valentines to his nurses, and he received a birthday present!
With all that being said Rhet is climbing and moving those mtns. With no bumps this month! With just some minor concerns, that will watch and take care of!

Great night stay at the brand new Ronald McDonald House literally right beside the hospital! Park in the same parking garage!
Rhet had a blast night before, exploring! Wore me and himself out! Also was able to visit the zone at the hospital !
Visit, was better with answered concerning questions, with counts still high waiting on a call from his primary oncologist to increase meds!
And other questions and answers received!

Some small mountains in the way but our boy is still
Moving/climbing them!
Thank you so very much for continued prayers, very much blessed and need them!

Yesterday was along day! But God showed up! Still have some concerns, and blood levels high, and increase oral chemo!
Rhet was awesome!
Bumps on the mountain but still climbing!

It has been a long morning for this boy! Some emotions and not being able to eat. He had a spinal tap and chemotherapy today! These visits are not our favorite! On a positive note blood count is in perfect range, meaning our oral chemo recipe meds are on point!
Mornings like this anything can make him break, thanks to Brookie 2 of the major breaks, she of course fixed! And had a happy boy! Also his favorite nurse was able to come see us!
We got to stay at the Ronald McDonald House last night! Which we love to stay!

Thank you all so very much for the continued prayers and support, in this boy climbing these mountains!🧡
