Riverside Chiropractic, P.A. Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Clinic of Hays, KS Our practice specializes in treating a variety of conditions. Our facility hosts six treatment rooms.

We treat patients daily who suffer from chronic lower back and neck pain, sports injuries, repetitive stress disorders, work injuries and whiplash. We provide our patients with excellent chiropractic care using "state of the art" chiropractic techniques, physio-therapy methodologies and exercise therapy. We will be adding a physical therapy center to our current Hays location in the near future which will focus on rehabilitation exercises for the neck, back and shoulders. We take pride in working closely with Fort Hays State University's Athletic Program by treating their athletes with chiropractic care to ensure the athlete's healthier and quicker recovery. Due to the many policy changes insurance carriers undergo, we will contact your insurance company for you to guarantee the coverage of our service before treatment. This helps cut down on any surprise costs! Dr. Uehling provides a free consultation during which he will review your signs, symptoms and history. Do not put your health on hold! We have manageable payment plans. Our goal is to work with you to ensure you are able to maintain good health!

We are excited to announce the other half the the Dr. Buhrle duo has joined Riverside Chiropractic!

Dr. Matt Buhrle is from Russell, Kansas, and brings unique expertise to Riverside Chiropractic & Physical Therapy. He is currently one of only two clinicians in Kansas to hold both an active Athletic Trainer and Chiropractor license.

His passion for sports medicine began in high school after spending a significant amount of time recovering from sports-related injuries. He pursued his athletic training education at Fort Hays State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in May 2021. Wanting to expand his scope of practice, Dr. Buhrle attended chiropractic school at Cleveland University-Kansas City.

While in graduate school, he worked part-time as an Athletic Trainer for Children’s Mercy Hospital and Overland Park Regional Medical Center, providing coverage for high school, middle school, and youth club athletics in the Kansas City metro area. After graduating from chiropractic school in December 2024, he returned to Hays to join his wife, Dr. Cheyenne Buhrle, PT, DPT at Riverside Chiropractic & Physical Therapy. He now also works as the Athletic Trainer for Plainville Athletics.

Dr. Buhrle is excited to offer general family wellness, sports chiropractic, and athletic training services to the people of Hays and the surrounding areas!
