As the end of the year is getting closer, we are needing to fill officer positions for next year. All positions are open so if you have any interest or know anyone who would be a great fit please email Rylee Staab your nomination at rdstaab@mail.fhsu.edu! We are accepting nominations through this Friday, March 13th. Provided below is a list of duties each position is expected to fulfill.

President: Keep meetings/club on track, delegate, & take leadership

Vice President: Fill in for president if absent, & help fill committees

Treasurer: Reserve & Pick up cash box/credit card for events, enter money, & keep track of funds

Secretary
Update & Email agenda, send email meeting reminders, takes notes, & booking rooms

Public relations: Recruitment, reminder for meeting on page, publicizes events, manage the page, &

Hope to see you there!

Explore the unique struggles of minorities with mental illness through a panel discussion, “Can You See Me?”. On Tuesday, February 25th at 7 p.m. Dean of the Werth College of Science, Technology, and Mathematics and professor of Geosciences, Grady Dixon, will host the event along with seven panelists from different ethnic groups in an open discussion about the triumphs and essential resources for support and healing of psychological struggles.

You are all invited to attend the NAMI Panel: Speak Up! The goal of this panel is to start a conversation about mental health and how it impacts Fort Hays students. The event is tonight at 6:00 pm in Cody Commons.

Join us for a panel discussion with FHSU peers and professionals on stress, anxiety, and depression. We will be discussing coping mechanisms, services available to students, and what you can do to be an advocate for mental health awareness!

The event is Tuesday, April 16th at 6:00pm. It will be hosted in Cody Commons, the basement of the Memorial Union.
