🌻 Receptionist – Sunflower Insurance Solutions (Hays, KS)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | In-Office

Sunflower Insurance Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for a welcoming, organized, and energetic Receptionist to join our Hays office! As the first point of contact for many of our Medicare clients, this role plays a vital part in creating a warm, community-centered experience while supporting the daily operations of our professional, fast-paced office.

If you love helping people, enjoy creating a positive first impression, and feel confident juggling multiple tasks at once — we’d love to meet you!

⭐ Key Responsibilities

Answer and manage multi-line phone calls
Schedule client appointments and maintain calendars
Greet walk-in clients and provide friendly, helpful check-ins for in-person appointments
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
Perform basic data entry and computer-based tasks
Support the team with daily administrative needs
Ensure the front office remains welcoming, tidy, and client-ready

⭐ Required Skills & Traits

Friendly, positive, and community-minded attitude
Strong phone and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy office environment
Comfortable working with seniors
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft 365, email, etc.)
Ability to learn new systems quickly (AgencyBloc experience is a bonus but not required)

⭐ Schedule

Full-Time: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Hays, KS (In-Office Only)

🌻 A Special Goodbye to Kris 🌻

It’s with mixed emotions that we share that our longtime team member, Kris Dinkel, will be leaving Sunflower Insurance Solutions.

Kris has been such a valued part of our team and a true blessing to the many clients she’s served over the years. We are both sad to see her go and excited for what lies ahead in her next chapter.

🌻 We’re Growing Again! Help Us Welcome Alaina Cunningham!

Please help us give a warm Sunflower welcome to Alaina Cunningham, the newest member of our team here at Sunflower Insurance Solutions!

Alaina joins us as a licensed Medicare sales agent, working out of our Home Office in Hays, KS. She brings with her not only a wealth of knowledge—but also a deep passion for serving others.

A proud Dodge City native, Alaina earned her nursing degree from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and has dedicated much of her life to helping people make informed healthcare decisions. She continues that mission now by guiding Medicare beneficiaries through their options with confidence and care.

In addition to her role with us, Alaina proudly serves on the Hays City Commission, showing her commitment to the community both inside and outside the office.

She’s also a busy wife and mom—married to her husband Brandon, and mom to MacKenzie, Elizabeth, and Logan ❤️
