It’s been a while since we’ve had a chance to update our 1,000lb club board but we’ve had some changes in the last few months!

One of the things I like to do is try apps to find helpful things for the gym. I try them to find anything helpful but these apps on facebook are total scams do not buy. They are scams and worthless!

Hey guys! We have quite a few clothing items hanging out on our shelf at this time and it’s starting to fill up to a point that members cannot store their personal items while working out. If you are missing any clothing items, please check the shelf by the bathroom. Any items left of the shelf by the end of this month will be washed and donated to a local charity.

Hey just a friendly reminder everyone needs to sign in (Members & Day Passes) when they come in the gym. We use this data as proof of activity in the area. It can help with Grants and Fitness tracking to benefit the community . If someone misses the sign in sheet please give a friendly reminder. Once again thank you so much for supporting BDG

Today is a very somber day for America. The horrible tragedy of 9/11 weights heavy on my heart. Black Diamond Gym was created out of respect and the memories of our fallen First Responders and all those who bravely ran toward the flames and chaos that dark day. The idea was envisioned in September 11, 2018 after I started my weight loss journey to regain my health and we fought through many obstacles to open our doors. The money was tough because alot of equipment had tripled in price and the pandemic restrictions blocked many of our plans. But on 09/11/2019 we purposely and resolutely formed our official business. Our mission is to help give access to our community a positive environment to promote health and well-being. I want to thank everyone who supported us in the beginning and over the last four years. We officially opened our doors against the odds of pandemic and pessimism in June of 2020.

I personally want to thank everyone for coming out and being life changers for so many. From the days when we had lines out our door to sign up, to nights when you could hardly turn around because of so many people were coming to workout and take classes. Never forget those who perished and those who fought to save so many lives. We salute you all! God Bless!

A few very important reminders:
WE ARE A SMOKE, V**E, AND TO***CO FREE FACILITY. Please respect the facility and the members who use it and do NOT use any of these products while you’re inside. We have cameras and are currently working to find some people who have been smoking and va**ng in the facility. This is not permitted and legal action can be taken if necessary.

Also, I know we all have different tastes in music and that a lot of you like to link up to our speakers to play your own personal playlists, but please make sure to be conscious of other members in the gym when you’re selecting your music. If other members come into the gym outside of your workout group, either ask them if they have any issues with you playing your music, or just make sure the profanity is to a minimum! We want everyone to enjoy the facility as much as possible!
