CRIL's Blind Service Consumers went on another Travel Training Trip! This time consumers got the chance to visit Lake Elizabeth. Many consumers walked about 2 miles in this event and got to get in touch with nature! Where should we go next?

Success Story! Check out how 5-year-old Romeo was able to use Assistive Technology to “communicate with the world around him”. Thanks to our AT Coordinator Jason Rivera, Romeo now has a loaned iPad he can use to help with his Autism and Optic Nerve Atrophy and creating new social interactions. Click the link below!

Congratulations to Patricia Loveland (PJ) for receiving the "Heart of Hayward" Award from the City of Hayward - Government. We appreciate any volunteers who walk into our office because they are doing a service to their community. However, PJ in particular, spent over 100 hours within the past year helping CRIL's Blind Service program with cooking classes, arts n craft classes, travel training events and peer support groups. She is loved amongst many of our consumers, and we look forward to her amazing work for the community in the future! Congratulations PJ!
