Earlier this week we paused to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, commitment, and love of nation continue to protect the freedoms we cherish each and every day.

Our community came together for a special Memorial Day Program, led in partnership with our local VFW Post. Residents, staff, and families reflected, remembered, and paid tribute through speaking, music, and a moment of silence to honor the fallen.

We are grateful for the presence and support of the VFW members who joined us and helped make this ceremony meaningful for our residents—especially our veterans.

May we always remember that freedom is never free. ❤️🤍💙

🌸 Skilled Nursing Home Week 2026: Moments in Bloom 🌸

This week, our community came alive as residents, staff, and families celebrated Skilled Nursing Home Week through meaningful connection, creativity, and fun. Every day offered a chance for new memories to blossom!

🌿 Monday – Dirt Cup Making & Stepping Stone Creation

We kicked off the week by making delicious Dirt Cups and designing stepping stones, each one as unique as the residents who created them.

🌼 Tuesday – Painting Flower Pots

Residents shared laughter and creativity while painting colorful flower pots to brighten our community.

🎨🍪 Wednesday – Flower Cookies & Flower Bingo

A sweet midweek treat! Everyone enjoyed decorating flower-shaped cookies followed by a lively round of Flower Bingo.

🎶🌱 Thursday – Music by Volunteer Gary & Planting with the Scouts

Music filled the halls as we welcomed our Volunteer, Gary and later the local Scouts came to help our residents plant flowers and enjoy an afternoon of intergenerational connection. A special thank you to the Scouts for sprucing up the flower boxes outside of our resident rooms!

🌸 Mother’s Day Celebration 🌸
Sunday we had the joy of hosting a beautiful Mother’s Day Tea with our residents and their families. The room was filled with laughter, shared memories, warm hugs, and the simple joy of being together.

From delicate treats to tea and coffee, Sunday was all about honoring the mothers, grandmothers, mother-figures, and caregivers who have shaped our lives in countless ways. 💗

Thank you to the families who joined us and made the day extra special. And to our residents — your strength, stories, and hearts are the reason we celebrate.

We’re blessed with a beautiful blend of seasoned nurses who have devoted years to serving our residents and newer nurses who bring fresh energy, passion, and purpose to our halls. Together, they create the perfect balance of wisdom, compassion, and teamwork that our residents feel every single day.

To our nurses with decades of dedication: thank you for your steady leadership, your deep knowledge, and the gentle reassurance you bring to every shift.

To our nurses just beginning their journey with us: thank you for choosing our community, for embracing each learning moment, and for bringing new ideas, excitement, and heart to our team.

We rounded out the month of April celebrating out incredible COTA, Connie. Her innovation, dedication, and willingness to step in wherever needed make a powerful impact on the care we provide.

Connie brings creativity, compassion and heart to each therapy session. Connie also shows extreme dedication as she often assists extra hours as a CNA when we are short or in a bind.

Thank you to Connie for wearing many hats, supporting our residents in many ways and bringing your whole heart to our home each day. You help to enhance the lives of all of our residents and we appreciate you!

We celebrated a few of the incredible women who keep our facility running smoothly with their organization, dedication, and heart.

Your follow through, knowledge, and tireless behind-the-scenes work ensure our operations run seamlessly every single day. We are grateful for the support you provide to residents, families, and staff. Thank you for all that you do!

Thank you for greeting every challenge (and every phone call!) with patience, and professionalism. Your attention to the little things keeps us on track. Thank you for not only showing your skills in the office setting but helping on the floor when you are needed!

✨ Brooke – Medical Records
Your accuracy, consistency, and commitment to detail keeps us all in line! We appreciate all of the many hats that you wear to ensure that many things run smoothly. We appreciate the essential role you play in our care team and the extreme amount of heart that you show to our residents.

Over several days in March into the beginning of April, we welcomed fluffy little chicks into the world! Resident enjoyed checking in daily, watching new arrivals, and spending time holding these sweet little bundles of joy.
It was a heartwarming, hands-on experience filled with smiles and laughter.
