Some of our staff at the Rising Center joined the Care Cottage for their 25th year celebration at the Barrels of Care event on Saturday night at the Appalachian Art Aliiance.

Having the Care Cottage as a collaborative community partner as we work to prevent s*xual violence has been an invaluable asset!

Thank you to the Care Cottage staff for having us and in all you do to help us support survivors of s*xual violence!!!

We wanted to give a shoutout to Texas Roadhouse in London, Kentucky for always thinking of us and our survivors. At least quarterly they come by to drop off things for our staff and survivors and we are very appreciative!

We were honored to host the Kentucky River Community Care, Inc. board meeting this week at The Rising Center! Jasmine, Gabby, and Chelsea shared our history, highlighted the services we provide, and discussed the impact we’re making in our community. We also reviewed important statistics from our center, Kentucky, and across the nation. Together, we’re working toward a safer, stronger future. 💙🩵
