Ok folks here are the new 2026 premiums and co-pays! These are what you would pay if you ONLY have Part A&B and no supplement or advantage plan.
For 2026, the standard Medicare Part B monthly premium is $202.90, and the annual deductible is $283. The Part A inpatient hospital deductible will be $1,736, and premiums for Part A are increasing for the minority of beneficiaries who pay them.
Medicare Part A
Monthly Premium: Most people don't pay a premium for Part A, but for those who do, the premiums are increasing.
$311 per month for those who had 30-39 quarters of coverage
$565 per month for those with less than 30 quarters of coverage
Inpatient hospital deductible: $1,736 per benefit period
Coinsurance for inpatient hospital stays:
Days 61-90: $434 per day
Lifetime reserve days: $868 per day
Coinsurance for skilled nursing facility stays:
Days 21-100: $217 per day
Medicare Part B
Standard monthly premium: $202.90 (This may be higher based on income)
Annual deductible: $283
Coinsurance: You pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount for most Part B-covered services after you meet the deductible.
