After the holiday weekend, we're reflecting about how July 4th hits everyone differently.

While social feeds are full of party pics and fireworks, plenty of Common Citizens navigate this weekend with completely different needs—reaching for comfort and support instead of excitement.

Those living with PTSD, anxiety triggered by fireworks and gatherings, or managing pain needs to participate aren't niche concerns. These issues impact about 1 in 4 Americans.

Understanding the full spectrum of wellness states creates opportunities for better service and stronger community relationships. Our people matter above all else.
