What a great evening at The Bottled Bean for the First Annual Festival of Trees! We were able to take home the "Most Unique Tree" award with the custom built "firewood" tree. Looking forward to next year already! Time to come up with a plan and take it to the next level.

I started this business full time right around a full month ago. The first project out of the gate was a boardwalk/dock installation on tiny private lake. It is finally finished and looks great! We ran into a few issues along the way and had to make a concession here and there, but I think it looks great!

The past few weeks have been busy, between getting work done for clients, and trying to fit in estimates in between. A few of the projects include threshold replacement and storm door repair, mailbox replacement, low point drain access improvement, cedar siding patching prior to solid stain, handyman work of hanging TV's, medicine cabinet, towel rods and minor maintenance, and I finished the week off by replacing and packing the wheel bearings on a large toy hauler camper.

This is precisely why I don't like calling myself a handyman. This client hired a handyman to replace a broken storm door with a new storm door and completely botched the job.

The door frame/jamb was missing pieces, the storm door was crooked and not shutting correctly, and the handyman didn't know how to fix it.

In an hour and a half, we had the door plumb and square to the frame, the door frame patched, and the client happy!

We could not ask for better weather to finish up the last of the outdoor projects before winter arrives. Last week was a great week to finish some projects for a bunch of my clients!

- Repaired a water leak, roof step flashing, and siding (to keep from leaking anymore until more in-depth repairs can be made) for a client in Woodruff
- Represented a home owner for a new internet install at vacation home in Boulder Junction. Removed old TV's, installed new TV's. Repaired an outlet and switch combo near the boathouse, installed Google Nest Security Cameras, and a bunch of other odds and ends tasks.
- Replaced Bo di Lac Rd cabin's entry door threshold, upgraded the low point drain access, and replaced the mailbox.
