Nikki Johnsrud coordinates an event that is: life changing, life connecting, and serves as a reminder that we are not alone in this crazy journey.

Medora has always been a place of peace for me…this event has made it even more special. 💛💛💛

As another Girlfriend Getaway came to a close this morning, my heart is full in the quietest, deepest way.

I want to begin with gratitude for our speakers and providers who poured both self-care and soul-care into every woman who walked through the doors. Through storytelling, vulnerability, confidence, and honest conversations about balance and finding our compass, you created space for healing, alignment, and growth.

The mission of COPE Consulting is simple and sacred to me:
to connect women with other women and with themselves.
This Girlfriend Getaway embodied that mission in ways I could have only dreamed of.

Watching women show up for themselves and for one another, authentically, bravely, and without apology, was nothing short of powerful. It reminded me that when women are given space to pause, reflect, and be seen, something beautiful unfolds.

A heartfelt thank you to my sister, Kari, and my dear friend, JennyLee, for helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. Your steady presence, care, and support mean more than you know.

And to Medora, thank you for holding us. Your calm, beauty, and sense of community created the perfect backdrop for connection and restoration.

To every woman who said yes to herself this weekend, thank you.
You showed up. You leaned in. You honored your needs.
That is the work. And that is where alignment begins.

Recently worked with a Reiki client experiencing unexplained hand numbness and pain. Medical doctor could not pinpoint cause.

During Reiki session, I could only sense movement of energy through her hands on one finger on right side.

I noticed immediatly beautiful acrylic nails but one nail clearly had fallen off.

Can you guess which finger was flowing out energy?

Yup. One with missng nail.

Following my gut instincts, asked how long she had been wearing acrylics and if timeline matched when hand numbness and pain started.

She was clearly skeptical about my question until realizing pain started six months prior…within weeks of getting very first set of acrylic nails.

Recommended she remove the acrylics simply as a process of elimination for the numbness and pain.

She was estatic to report that within four days after nail removal, pain and numbness gone.

I am not a medical expert and will never claim to be one. What I do shout from the mountaintops is be your own wellness advocate and educate yourself about environmental and diet impacts on health.

Nearly all acrylic nail glues and polishes contain carcinogens. Covering the nail bed increases likelihood of nail weakness…allowing faster absorption of gunky chemicals.

Just something to consider and absolutely no judgement if you choose to wear nails.
