We’re proud to announce that Jeff Davis Hospital has been recognized among the U.S. hospitals with a zero C. difficile (C. diff) infection rate for the period of Oct 2023 – Sept 2024. (beckershospitalreview.com)

This recognition places us on a short list of hospitals across the country — and only 1 of 16 right here in Georgia — who have achieved zero C. diff cases. That means our hospital is helping set the standard for infection prevention and patient safety nationwide.

Another reminder of what to look for if you are concerned about sepsis: T.I.M.E.
T: Temperature: higher OR lower than normal
I: Infection: signs or symptoms of infection
M: Mental Decline: confused, sleepy, difficult to rouse
E: Extremely Ill: severe pain, discomfort, or shortness of breath

Make sure you head to a hospital fast and get help!
