Hazlet Family Care is Hazlet's Premiere Primary Care Office. We offer primary care. We are physician owned and accept most insurances.

From annual physicals, wellness visits, sick visits and more, we have you covered. As of April 2020, we are no longer an Urgent Care Center. We are Primary Care with Walk-ins available. Same great Urgent Care service at Primary Care prices! Our services include:

Dr. Brendan J. Mulholland is a board-certified Family Practitioner and has served the Red Bank area for 15 years. After graduating from Georgetown University of Medicine he completed his residency training at Penn State University Hospital.

We're excited to announce the addition of psychiatric services to our practice. Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner Conor Mulholland is now available to diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions after completing his Psychiatric Mental Health Certification! Conor is now dual certified as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric nurse practitioner and will be seeing both medical patients and patients requesting psychiatric services.

Conor's psychiatric services will focus on medication management and, when appropriate, offer psychotherapy-offering a comprehensive and compassionate approach to mental wellness.

The goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and provide a safe, welcoming resource for those seeking support.

Conor is available for in-person appointments on Wednesdays from 7am-4pm and by Telemed on Thursdays from 7am-4pm.

We're making a few changes here at Hazlet Family Care. Beginning Monday, October 6th, 2025, Alexis Totten, DNP will be providing care at Hazlet Family Care. Alexis is moving over from our Red Bank Family Medicine office where she has been providing family care for 7 years.

About Alexis:
Alexis received a BA in Political Science from Washington & Lee University in 2005 and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Seton Hall University. In 2018, Alexis received her Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Care.

During her training, Alexis completed two clinical rotations at Red Bank Family Medicine where she discovered her love of family practice. Alexis has been practicing at Red Bank Family Medicine since 2018.

Alexis also has extensive experience in emergency care. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Alexis was a nurse in the emergency department of Riverview Medical Center for six years. Additionally, while at Rutgers University, Alexis completed clinical rotations in the emergency departments of University Hospital and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Additionally, we are updating our hours to Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. We will no longer have Saturday hours.

Special Announcement From Hazlet Family Care!

We'd like to welcome Alexis Totten, DNP who will be moving over from our affiliate Red Bank Family Medicine - Gilbert Street effective Monday, October 6th. Alexis has been with IMA for 7 years and brings with her a true passion for practicing family medicine.

Additionally, effective October 3rd, Hazlet Family Care will no longer have Saturday hours and will no longer accept walk-in patients. Our new hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-4pm by appointment. Appointments with DNP Alexis can be made by calling our office at 732-888-7646.
