Secretary Al Schmidt reminded Pennsylvanians today that the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 4 municipal election is four weeks away.

September is National Voter Registration Month. Take a few minutes to celebrate by registering to vote (vote.pa.gov/Register) or confirming your voter registration information is up to date (vote.pa.gov/Status).

Make note of these important dates:

Oct. 20 – Last day to register to vote in the municipal election. vote.pa.gov/Register

Oct. 28 – Last day to apply for a mail ballot. vote.pa.gov/MailBallot

Nov. 4 – Election Day. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mail ballots must be returned by 8 p.m.
