Tamara Poli, our exceptional hyperbaric technician at Healdsburg Hospital, has been honored with the 2025 Circle of Excellence Award by the Baromedical Nurses Association (BNA)! This award is given to health care workers who go above and beyond in Hyperbaric Medicine, and Tamara is the first certified hyperbaric technician to receive this award from the BNA.

Tamara has dedicated her career to treating hyperbaric patients and consistently models excellence in her care. She is truly deserving of this award, and we are honored to have her on our wound care team at Healdsburg Hospital.

Providence was proud to participate in the Sonoma County Pride Parade for the fourth consecutive year. A huge thank you to the dozens of caregivers and their families from across Northern California who joined us in the parade on May 31, 2025! 🏳️‍🌈💞🎉

We are thrilled to support and stand alongside our LGBTQIA+ caregivers and community members.

Pride celebrations trace their origins back to the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, a pivotal moment for the LGBTQIA+ rights movement in the United States and worldwide. Since the first Pride march on June 28, 1970, millions of people globally now gather in June to celebrate love, advocate for equality and show allyship.

We are incredibly grateful to all the caregivers who volunteered their time and effort to plan our participation in this important event. Happy Pride Month!

Today, medical care isn’t something that Jamal and his family worry about.

For Jamal and his wife, who moved to Washington in 2021, Medicaid (also known as Medi-Cal in California) was a lifeline.

After his restaurant job in 2024 didn’t provide insurance coverage, and his wife required extra care during her pregnancy, Medicaid stepped in to offer the support they needed. Health care professionals were there to assist the family in securing pregnancy coverage and enrolling their child in Medicaid, ensuring they continue to receive the care they deserve as they prepared for their second pregnancy.

Medicaid plays a significant role in ensuring families like Jamal’s have access to necessary health care services.
