Measles is spreading in Utah, and we want to ensure our families stay protected. đĄď¸
Since June 2025, there have been over 580 confirmed cases statewide. Utah currently has one of the highest case counts in the country, and we have 9 confirmed cases right here in Wasatch County.
The MMR vaccine is your childâs best defense:
- 97% Effective: Two doses provide nearly complete protection.
- 92% of nationwide cases are occurring in individuals who are unvaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.ďż˝
đ˘ IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR INFANTS: Due to the current outbreak levels, the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is recommending that infants aged 6 through 11 months receive an early dose of the MMR vaccine before traveling or if they are in high-risk areas.
Not sure if your child is up to date? Give us a call or a text! We are happy to check their records and help get them protected.
