Our first event is at the February 12th Wasatch Wellness Night, hosted at Wasatch High School. We will be providing free, safe child care for children ages 3-11.

We are seeking volunteers (background check required, using your driver’s license) to help with our fun and engaging activities!

“As we look at human development I want to talk about something very special that needs to be named and is rarely talked about. It’s called ALLO parenting. Anthropologist Sarah Hrdy writes in a book called “Mothers and Others” the way that allo parenting works is that we evolved to share parenting.
We are mammals, and babies need attachment figures, but unlike a dog that has puppies - that mother does not share the puppies with anyone - but with humans it’s different. we evolved in systems where we lived in community and we had to look to the others in the community to find those that we trust to care for our babies with us... Human beings are meant to live in community with people they trust. “

Our main focus is child development, beginning with childcare. We will also offer academic support, therapeutic services, community education, and a food pantry.
