The Pride Alliance would like to extend a huge Thanks to Pinky Promise and the Pink House of Conway.

Tonight, The Pride Alliance's "Transitions Group" was stranded in the cold at Hendrix College. We arrived to darkness and a ghost town. It is winter break for Hendrix, so this year they locked up additional buildings, in this case... the one that we utilize for our meetings. Somehow our group was left off the schedule and unfortunately the campus did not have appropriate staffing to unlock and monitor our group and the Safety and Security department had to decline use of the meeting space. We would like to assure everyone this is not typical.

Our sincere apologies to anyone that we were unable to contact or reach - I know some of you travel from well over an hour away, and many even had pot luck items to share in tote...

To those that waited in the cold with us to see if we could find a last second alternate location... We want thank you for your flexibility, patience, and understanding.

The Pink House was incredible and kind enough to offer their space in a moments notice. We all immediately loaded into our cars and drove over.

Yesterday was a success!

Phase One we had 47 Individuals representing Pride Organizations and Communities from all corners of Arkansas (and even Missouri), with a host of volunteers / staff / and guest speakers. For Phase Two we had 79 participants and brought into the conversation many aspects of leadership, community, humanity - and address detriments, questions, and concerns. Phase 3, we had 118 tickets sold, and an great group of VIPs, volunteers, and staff - with attention to our DJs from Gay4good.

I hope everyone had an incredible time, I hoped you learned and shared life experiences, and have a renewed interest in changing Arkansas. I know we made many connections, had many conversations, and grew as an organization tremendously.

Thank you to all of you that attended, Thank You to our volunteers, Thank you to our sponsors and our event donations, Thank you to our photographer, DJ, and entertainers. Let's DO IT AGAIN 😉.

Today!!! Hendrix College Conway - ask Google or Siri to "Take me to the Student Life and Technology Center at Hendrix College Conway". The building is a pinned location, so either navigation system can take you there. Phase One, welcome to arrive around 845. Phase Two, welcome to arrive around 1230. Phase Three Prom - Doors open at 7, music and VIP area around 730 - last call will be 1045pm.

Phase 1 and 2 are FREE, Tickets are still available thru the Prom link. Prom benefit is also still open for tickets, we have scholarships available for those in need of help to join. Hope to see you there!

The Little Rock Zoo 🦧 has contributed 4 Admission Tickets for the Little Rock Zoo.

Tonight The Pride Alliance connected with 47 individuals... Most were invited members of our volunteer Fire District, along with many businesses, and members of the public.... We provided these individuals with Narcan and Overdose Awareness Training, lives will undoubtedly be saved. Community impact in the works! With such an opportunity we also brought with us HIV kits (media for AR RAPPS), Stroke Education for UAMS, Mental Health Safety Plans from SAMSA, Smoking Cessation materials from Be Well Arkansas, and information about The Pride Alliance and upcoming events and even more!

Hello there!! So I want to share some exciting stuff, The Pride Alliance is growing to share anywhere... We need your help to build our network, please join, follow, and share...

Basically, just download the TWITCH application and then add and follow The Pride Alliance. We will begin to live stream thru TWITCH and KICK and now ANYONE, ANYWHERE, will be able to join virtual network to attend and participate in some of our groups! Thanks for building this network, and helping 🙏 this could change some individuals life if they are in area unaccessible to these groups and services, we also hope to host more stuff like virtual resource fair, or stream some shows.. exciting stuff.

The Pride Alliance is looking for supplies to provide Wellness Services; we are have completed state requirements and have some equipment on order, these are supplies needed in addition to our equipment.
