Every dozen doughnuts you enjoy helps us get closer to purchasing essential commercial equipment, including a new fridge, dishwasher, tableware, and kitchen utensils.

This week, our little learners will be exploring what it means to be a "good neighbor" as we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We will be focusing on the "Content of Character"—teaching that while we are all unique on the outside, we all have the same capacity for kindness on the inside!

What we’re doing:
• Monday: The “cloudy weather” VS “sunny weather” .Dissension is like a storm where friends are arguing. Dr. King taught us how to bring the "sun" back by listening and being fair.•
•Tuesday: Creating our center’s "Kindness Quilt."
• Wednesday: Storytime focused on Dr. King’s dream of friendship.
• Thursday: Learning about "Fairness" through sharing and helping.
• Friday: Hands of Harmony—celebrating all the different colors that make our world beautiful!

We are SO excited to spend the week focusing on how we can make our community a brighter, more loving place for everyone! 🤝✨

Giving myself a moment to get through this post... 🥺

This Friday is going to be a tough one as we say "see you soon" to Ms. Anna. As one of the "OG" teachers of TKA, she has been a pillar of our facility since the very beginning…

On a personal note, I’ll never forget walking through the doors of TKA years ago—not as a Director, but as a nervous mom with an 8-week-old infant. Leaving my baby in your care made me feel less afraid.

I could never thank you enough for everything you have instilled in my own children, as well as all of our TKA “babies” over the years. You are irreplaceable.

We wish you and Samuel nothing but the absolute best on your new adventure in the big city! 🏙️
