Ivy is the Celtic tree associated with the month of October. Ivy represents resilience, regeneration, and loyalty. Ivy can support us as we endure difficult times, overcome obstacles, when we need a boost of stick-to-itiveness, or when we need to be brave and reach places we thought we could not. Ivy needs to rely on other trees and obstacles to climb, and this is a lesson those of us who try to go it alone can surely benefit from. Reaching heights with grace and love, Ivy is one of my favorite teachers. Keep Ivy in or around your home to remind you of your own resilience, connection, and the love that surrounds you. 💚

Intentional Peace: Peace in the world begins within each and every one of us. It is our responsibility to intentionally cultivate inner peace. Sometimes, finding true peace can seem out of reach. Begin with the small, quiet moments that fill your heart. When the heart is happy, the soul is at peace. For me, it's soft nuzzles and the clip-clop of hooves. "From my heavenly seat, I see your divine perfection, especially in the moments you see as imperfect. But what you don't know is how I saw this every day of my life with you." Although this message came through in a session for a grieving widow, it stuck with me as something so many of us could benefit from hearing, and more importantly, believing. It's human nature to get caught up in the details and trials of our relationships, whether it be a parent and child, friends, or spouses. But the truth is, when we unconditionally love someone, we see their divine perfection in every moment, no matter what that moment may look like. 🪽✨

August 5th through September 1st is associated with the hazel tree in Celtic tradition. While hazel has strong connections to wisdom and knowledge (the story of the Salmon of Knowledge), this sacred tree also represents and supports creativity. Cultivating creativity in your life not only builds a sense of fulfillment and pride, but it is an essential component in unlocking one's ability to connect with spirit, the divine, and our highest-self. Tapping into your creativity will open the door to divine inspiration. If you have put down the paint brush, the guitar, the pen- now is the time to begin again! If you have not yet discovered your creative talents, be brave and explore what is waiting to be revealed... write a song or poem, make up a dance, decorate a room, build something, create! And if you need a little inspiration to get started, why not snack on a hazelnut or two! May the wisdom and inspiration of Hazel by yours 🌿💫

The sea heard me coming. She held her breath and waited as I stepped gently on the sand, barefoot and moonlit, walking towards the turning tide and the million memories in the landward look of the sea. I wrote my longing in the sand, a devotion and a dedication, and she took it, swept it up with her salt kisses and gave me back the soft blessing of her gentle tide. Seashells danced at my feet in the clear glass shallows before reeling away into the low realm of the Selkie, of deep sunken stories and the starglint magic of the full moon tide.🦭🧜‍♀️🦭🩵🩵

Aligning ourselves with the Earth's natural rhythms aligns us with our truest selves. Tap into the building energy of spring as plant life pushes its way through the soil to emerge and embrace the air and sun, buds swell before bursting open to reveal the glory of being seen, shades of green deepen and brighten across the lands and in the treetops, the Earth- heavily pregnant- will soon birth fully ripe, abundant life. What do you feel building within yourself? What will you reveal to the world? Like the swollen bud, there is no stopping what you are meant to be. Embrace the build... because you already are what will soon be shown to the world.

Have you checked in with yourself today? It's not too late and it only takes a minute! Don't go to bed with all of that churning in your head and heart... you deserve to be free. Ready? Close your eyes and take a nice, deep breath. Place your hand on your forehead and ask yourself, "What have my thoughts been like today?" Acknowledge what comes up, without judgement. Breath deeply and let it go. Now place your hand on your chest. Ask, "How do I feel? What are my emotions?" Acknowledge and honor what comes up for you. Breath deeply and let it go. Keep your hand on your chest and imagine giving yourself love and healing- send it to your heart and then open your eyes. 💙
