River here! I mustache you a question: Are you taking time to slow down and enjoy your precious life? I am learning how to be a grown-up riding horse and even though I try hard, sometimes I feel overwhelmed. Luckily, my humans know that I like to take things slow. I don’t like it when my person is rushing or anxious and thinking about too many things. Sometimes she even brushes me too fast without realizing it! I let her know with my ears and then she uses nice slow strokes. Today, she sat in my hay while I ate for a long time. We had a relaxing time together and didn’t think about too many things other than how much she admires my mustache and how nice hay-chewing sounds are. I think she should do this more often, and if you have an Irish Cob to sit with (or maybe a dog or even a tree you love), you should too! PS...
