Finger Lakes Wine Flour Wine Flour from grape skins. What is Wine Flour? Our Wine Flours come from wine-grapes grown in the Finger Lakes of New York.

The flours are made from 100% grape seeds and skins. After the wineries press the grapes for their juice, the pomace is transported just a few miles to our small flour mill located in Hector, NY. The grape seeds and skins are hand sorted, separated, sun dried and artisan stone milled. Our wine flours are meant to supplement your recipes with flavor, color and nutrition. In addition to antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, each tablespoon adds two grams of protein and three grams of fiber! Please use our Wine Flour with other flours as it is a baking, cooking and nutritional supplement.

Wholly Loaves Bakery has baked over 200 wine sourdough loaves using wine flour since we first met in March. That is a lot of bread and with all of the additives found in big box bread we THANK YOU for choosing local and high quality.
The Burdett Exchange gets fresh wine bread every Thursday and now they carry two varieties of Wine Flour just in time for SMOOTHIE SEASON! Just 1 tablespoon will increase your protein and fiber.
Sunset View Creamery gets fresh wine bread on both Mondays and Thursdays
Hector Wine Company gets fresh wine bread on Fridays.
Get out and grab some for your holiday weekend! (HWC also carries Wine Flour).

Sauce is our favorite thing to make with Wine Flour...
Crockpot recipe.
For canning, or your freezer and refrigerator ❣️
Great as a spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, lasagna sauce and more. ❣️
❣️Recipe❣️
Ingredients ___________________
8 pounds of garden tomatoes. •
(We used beefsteak and malachite)
8 cloves of garlic, minced or sliced (more or less depending on your preference).
1 large red onion, diced. •
1/4 cup fresh oregano, chopped •
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped•
8 sprigs of fresh thyme •
1/4 cup Cabernet
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce •
1 tablespoon soy sauce•
Salt and pepper to taste •
Method__________________
Boil large pots of water and place tomatoes in for 1 minute. Remove and place in large bowls of chilled water.
When you’re able to handle them comfortably, remove skins and squeeze out seeds. ❣️
Next place all ingredients in a crockpot, turn on low and let ingredients simmer together for 8 hours. Turn off crockpot and let cool. Once cooled, puree the sauce. We use a food processor.
you can separate the sauce you’ll be eating within the next five days into quart containers for your fridge. For the freezer, grab large ziploc bags and fill them in a way so they can lay flat and be about an inch thick. ❣️
Recipe produces 5-6 quarts of sauce. ❣️

These are ravioli filled with a creamy polenta (farmer ground flour) and marscapone cheese with FLX wine salt (Syracuse salt company). The dough is made of doppio zero, semolina (caputo brothers), duck eggs (spotted duck), and the Pinot Noir wine flour.
