Today was a sweet Southern treat as our residents enjoyed a field trip to Cracker Barrel! 🪑🧺
From comfort food favorites to a little shopping in the country store, it was the perfect outing filled with smiles, good conversation, and full hearts (and bellies!).

We love getting out into the community and creating moments like these — because it’s about more than a meal, it’s about memories. ❤️

Our Activity Professionals—full of heart and creativity!

They juggle games and bingo cards,
and calendars just right,
From morning chair aerobics to movie nights at night.
Like the Mad Hatter with a plan
(but far less mad, it’s true),
They pour out fun and kindness in all they say and do.

They paint with smiles and stories,
and sprinkle days with cheer,
Turning ordinary moments into memories held dear.
They host tea parties, dances, crafts,
and sing-alongs galore,
Making Carillon Oaks Heflin feel like Wonderland and more.

With hearts as big as Cheshire grins and patience deep and wide,
They walk beside our residents, a trusted, joyful guide.
Through every season, theme, and song, their passion brightly gleams—

❄️Winter Weather Ahead ❄️

With the possibility of inclement weather across Alabama this weekend, many families are feeling anxious about elderly loved ones being home alone without power or heat.

One of the true blessings of having a loved one at Carillon Oaks Heflin is the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are safe, warm, and well cared for — no matter what the weather brings. Our community is prepared with backup power, trained staff on site, and a plan in place to keep residents comfortable and warm.

We are stocked up on our favorite hot chocolate and fresh coffee to help keep everyone cozy through the cold days ahead. ☕️🍵

No worrying about frozen pipes.
No wondering if the heat is working.
No loved ones facing the winter storm alone.

What a wonderful way to wrap up the year! December was full of activity, fellowship, celebrations, and joyful moments—our community was truly buzzing from beginning to end. From special events to family visits and meaningful time together, every corner of Carillon Oaks Heflin was filled with life and laughter.

We are so thankful for our residents, families, staff, and community partners who helped make this season so special. 🎄

✨ Two Meals, Twice the Gratitude! ✨

Last night, our Independent & Assisted Living residents enjoyed our second Thanksgiving celebration of the week — another delicious meal lovingly prepared by Chef Leo and his outstanding culinary team! 🧡🦃

We ended the evening with one of our favorite Carillon Oaks traditions — the lighting of the Christmas tree! 🎄✨ Residents and their families were invited to hang a special ornament together, marking the beginning of a joyful holiday season filled with love, memories, and togetherness.

We are so thankful for our beautiful residents, their families, and the magic that this time of year brings to Carillon Oaks Heflin. ❤️
