PA Lions District 14-U Convention Highlights Service and Recognition

The PA Lions District 14-U Convention was held this past weekend in Tannersville, PA, bringing together Lions from across the district to celebrate service, fellowship, and achievement. The annual event featured workshops, updates on district-wide projects, and recognition of outstanding Lions who exemplify the organization’s mission.
One highlight of the convention was the presentation of various awards. District Governor Grace Karrer honored Lion Tom Kroh of the Valley View Tri-Valley Lions Club with the PDG John R. Crone Fellowship. The award recognized his instrumental role in establishing the Refurbished Hearing Aid Program, a collaborative initiative with Beltone Hearing Center in Hegins. This program collects, refurbishes, and distributes hearing aids to individuals in need, helping to improve quality of life through better hearing access.
