Last week, Amplify teamed up with United Way of the Lewis & Clark Area to help our neighbors in need tidy up their homes and yards, alongside 200 other volunteers across Helena.

Originally from Ventura, CA, Karley moved to Helena after obtaining her doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She treats a variety of hand injuries to help people regain independence in all aspects of life after injury or surgery. She enjoys anything and everything outdoors and spends most of her time gardening, hiking, or camping with her husband and two dogs.

We are so insanely proud of you for all you’ve accomplished thus far. You’re going to CRUSH IT in PT school! From all of us here, we wish the absolute very best as you continue your education to become a physical therapist! ❤️🩺💪

For those who might not be aware, Kayla crossed paths with our team a few years back, when Brūs & Dallas were presenting in Carroll College’s Health Sciences class. Kayla then reached out to Brūs to job shadow, and learn more about what it’s like being a PT, and what it takes on the day-to-day. Since then, she’s volunteered alongside us, would regularly stop by the clinic just to say hi, and over the past few months, has interned in our clinic and supported us with daily functions in all roles.

Kayla, you’re truly one of a kind. Don’t be a stranger, k?

As we head into the final weeks of the school year, we are running low on GRANOLA BARS for our weekly Kid Pack program. These packs have easy, nutritious snacks to help ensure local kids have food over the weekend when school meals aren’t available.
Next time you’re shopping, if you can pick up a box or more of granola bars to help us finish out the school year strong, we would be so grateful!
Donations can be dropped off at the Helena Food Share donation door along Boulder Ave:
📍 Monday & Thursday: 9 am – 6 pm
📍 Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 9 am – 3:30 pm
You can also help through the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive 📫on Saturday, May 9. Simply leave donated food, including granola bars, by your mailbox, and our amazing local postal carriers will pick it up and deliver it to Helena Food Share.
