🎀Kohen's rescheduled dates for her CT & MIBG scans will now be on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026.

🎀Labs and nuclear medicine injection will be Tuesday, February 24th. We'll also have a telemed appointment with her oncologist that following Friday at 3pm.

Kohen's scans are being rescheduled due to travel conditions and the delivery delay of her nuclear medicine injection on Wednesday. I will provide an update as soon as we have a new date confirmed. 💛

Wednesday | 11/5/25 | Kohen Reese lost her first tooth.

I'm not sure how this day got here so fast.

We tied a string to it and then to her Bo baby's collar...he turned around to take off running and it came right on out. Nothing but pure excitement.

It's a moment that I knew was coming... but one that no one or nothing can prepare your heart for.

Our brave baby girl is growing up 🩷🦷🧚‍♀️

Overall diagnosis- Stage L2 High Risk Neuroblastoma. Non MYCN and non ALK. Unfavorable histology. Refractory. VIP Hypersecrection +.

If you look at her now, you would never know her body was once so frail, tiny, and failing her. Her strength and resilience still amazes me.
Yet lately, we've been busy L I V I N'. So much, that I almost let this day slip my memory and I honestly pray one day, that it does.

She's doing wonderful and is officially one whole hand now! 5️⃣🥳🖐
So grateful 💜

Today, Rally Kids Ailani, Carolyn, and Brecklynn stood with other childhood cancer fighters and survivors at the White House as President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order doubling funding for the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative from $50M to $100M.

We’re proud to see Rally’s voice included and progress being made for better treatments and cures for kids fighting cancer.

UPDATE 1:10PM: JUST FINISHED WITH THE LEFT KIDNEY, STARTING ON THE RIGHT!

UPDATE 1:05 PM:
We are still working and Jackson is doing great. We will update in an hour if we are still working.

UPDATE AT 11:15AM:
They are still working on his left kidney and said he Is still doing great.

UPDATE AT 10:12AM:
We are still working and Jackson is doing great. We will update in an hour if we are still working.

UPDATE AT 9:30AM: They’ve got the stints placed and starting to begin the nephrectomy now. He’s still doing good.

Scan results were clear and the nodule in the soft tissue near her L2 vertebrae is considered unchanged and stable 🙌🥹🙌

Kohen's oncologist wants to continue with scans every 6 months vs going yearly due to the concern of little growth from prior scans in the past to be cautious.

For reference, the measurements below show how much the residual nodule has increased in size since we chose to end treatment in May of 2023. This time, it has actually shown no growth since her last 6 month scan from January of 2025. I pray for no more growth and that she continues to receive a healthy report overall. 🙏

•June 2023- 0.6 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm.

•July 2025- 1.8 x 2.9 x 2.9 cm.

It's scan time! 🩻 CT & whole body MIBG.

•They put her to sleep in CT around 12:55.
She requested no pre-med this time and wanted gas mask only. She was super anxious as usual but tried so hard to be as brave as she possibly could.

🎀3:15pm- she has arrived in recovery and we should go back to see her soon!

When we first checked in, she gave me an unexpected sweet smile when I asked for a picture 📸 😊 thats usually a big no for her here on scan week!

I wanted to thank you all so much for keeping our princess in your thoughts and prayers! We feel them 🙏

I'll update again once we receive results!

✨️ Today starts day 1/5 of potassium Iodide to protect her thyroid and our tiny tot is so upset about it. 🥺

✨️Tomorrow is lab and nuclear medicine injection day.

✨️Thursday is scan day.
