We're proud to celebrate Whitney Brothers, RN, for receiving the Coleen Magera Children's Champion Award at the 2026 Children's Justice Conference. 💚💙

Since launching our Forensic Nurse Program in 2022, Whitney has transformed access to Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) services across central Montana, ensuring survivors of all ages can receive compassionate, trauma-informed care close to home.

Her leadership has strengthened collaboration among community partners, expanded the forensic nursing workforce and advanced critical protocols that improve both patient care and safety. From securing major funding to training professionals statewide, Whitney's impact reaches far beyond our region.

Colleagues describe her as compassionate, collaborative and unwavering in her commitment to survivors and we couldn't agree more.

Your safety remains our top priority. At St. Peter's Health, our care teams are trained and equipped to safely manage infectious diseases like measles. We follow strict infection prevention protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), isolation procedures and adherence to the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

If you believe you may have symptoms of measles or have been exposed, we ask that you please call ahead before visiting our Urgent Care locations or Emergency Department. This helps our teams prepare and ensure you receive care in the safest way possible while minimizing exposure to others.

Helena, MT – Lewis and Clark Public Health (LCPH) has confirmed five new cases of measles in Lewis and Clark County.
