Join us for our September Webinar, an update on the 2025 Legislative Session, hosted by your MSHA Legislative Committee. Review the bills we worked on and get updates on where they are now. Topics include: Medicaid Reimbursement Increase; our new Board at DLI that combines ST, OT, PT, AuD and Athletic Trainers; the new date for Assistant Licensure achieved through experience; SLP and Audiology Aides in MT schools; Hearing Aides for all individuals covered by insurance; School Caseloads, and more. Governor Gianforte has Vetoed HB585, which would have provided an increase for Medicaid Reimbursement for OT, PT, and SLPs. The fight is not over, but we NEED to act. We need to ask our legislators to overturn the veto on HB585. Please contact 2 legislators now: Your Representative and Your Senator, and ask them to vote to overturn this veto when the ballot comes out. HB585 passed the Montana Legislature with an incredibly successful 85%. We need 2/3 of the Legislators to vote YES to this bill again in order to overturn the veto. Please check your email for sample language.
