Intrasana; derived from the Latin words: Intra (within); Sana (to heal). The concept for this combination came from the experiences that I had with health and weight issues from my mid teens. I enjoyed to the fullest all the processed foods that steadily pushed my weight into a very unhealthy range. I tried every type of diet, never finding a permanent solution, and yo-yo'd until my early twenties
. A move to Southern California from the Pacific Northwest finally sparked a change in me. My desire to help others look & feel their best began with my first passions, aesthetics and make-up artistry, but I wanted to do more than help people from the outside. This lead me on the path to studying physical fitness, and nutrition. I found out how different foods produced inflammatory effects on our bodies from the inside out, and discovered how much better I could feel by simply reducing certain ingredients from my daily diet. Now over 60lbs lighter, I no longer struggle to maintain, finally having found balance with my nutrition, and discovered my own Intrasana. A strong love of sweets & baking from my childhood has always stayed with me, and after years of experimenting in the kitchen with alternative, body nourishing ingredients to still be able to satisfy occasional cravings, I am happy to share my discoveries! All of my products are free of Dairy, Gluten, and Soy; and mostly Vegan!
