Pictured below is heart worms we extracted from a jugular vein to potentially save a patients life.

Patient was in Caval Syndrome which is a severe life threatening complication of advanced heartworm disease causing a blockage to the heart. 🥺

Heartworm disease is 100% preventable. Treatment is long, stressful, and expensive, but a monthly preventative makes all the difference!
Keep your furry best friend safe and happy 🐶

Fun fact: heartworms are transmitted by mosquitoes. 🦟 Even if your pet lives in the house if just one mosquitoe enters your house your pet could be infected.

Unsure if your pet has heartworms? We’d be glad to do in-house testing for only 40$

This summer we will be doing a discounted bath day once a week.😍😍
Wednesdays will be our 20$ doggy bath day 🛁🫧
If you choose to leave your dog at the clinic it will have to be up to date on vaccines and flea a tick, this is not a requirement if you stay and wait on them.

We will be taking walk ins for baths all day (we will take a lunch from 12-1)

We look forward to giving your furr babies a spa day 🧼

* all baths come with a nail trim and ear cleaning

Dr Pittman will stop seeing walk ins at 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, He will be out of
The office at 4:30 on those days until further notice. He will see scheduled Clarksdale patients at cares at 5 on these days!
