Four years ago, Smith Family Resources celebrated the grand opening of the Mitford Museum in a unique way. In October 2021, our meal planning service, HELP: Healthy Eating Lists & Plans, featured recipes inspired by Jan Karon’s Mitford Cookbook and Kitchen Reader. I wrote, “These recipes are full of the charm of our favorite fictional hometown but free of gluten, dairy, and soy!” This October we’ll share the Mitford-inspired recipes with our current HELP subscribers to celebrate the launch of Jan Karon’s My Beloved AND the Mitford Book Club’s discussion of the Mitford Cookbook!
