Reilly Chiropractic Dr Christopher Reilly is a Chiropractor who specializes in the Gonstead Method of Chiropractic Care. There he received a BS in Biology with High Honors.

Dr. Christopher Reilly has been in private practice at 1559 Main Street in Hellertown since 2000, specializing in the Gonstead Technique of Chiropractic care for challenging cases. He had previously worked with the late Dr. Michael Lynch in Bethlehem from 1998 to 2000. Dr. Reilly grew up in the Lehigh Valley and was an accomplished student athlete at Palisades High School. During that time he suffered a neck injury, and was only able to find relief through Chiropractic care. This incident left a lasting impression on him, and eventually led to his decision to become a Chiropractor. Dr. Reilly graduated at the top of his class from Palisades, earning a scholarship to Lehigh University. He then enrolled in the oldest and most honored chiropractic college in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1998, and was a member of Pi Tau Delta, the International Chiropractic Honor Society. In addition to running his office, Dr. Reilly volunteers a lot of his time giving back to the community. He has been very active with the Saucon Valley Relay For Life -- having worked as both the event chairperson and a team captain. Through this he has helped raise large amounts of money for the American Cancer Society, while drawing attention to their cause.

The Gonstead Adjustment -

After a complete analysis, the Gonstead chiropractor is ready to deliver any necessary adjustments. The focus of the Gonstead adjustment is to be as specific, precise and accurate as possible, addressing only the problem areas (areas of subluxation). Great care is taken to ensure a bio-mechanically correct position and precise thrust to provide the most accurate and painless adjustment possible. It is the goal of your Gonstead doctor to restore and maintain optimal health by locating and correcting any interference to the nervous system caused by vertebral subluxation.

Key Aspects of the Gonstead Chiropractic System-

Five Components of Analysis:

1-Visualization: Looking for subtle signs of posture, movement, and gait imbalances.

2-Instrumentation: Utilizing a "Nervoscope" to detect heat differences along the spine, which indicates inflammation and nerve pressure.

3-Static Palpation: Feeling the spine while the patient is stationary for tenderness, swelling, or tightness.

4-Motion Palpation: Assessing how the spinal segments move by having the patient bend and flex.

5-X-ray Analysis: Using full-spine X-rays to visualize the entire structure, including joint and disc integrity
