As you explore what it is to live, you’ll take yourself on adventures and investigate curiosities. Some reckless, others calculated and cautious. You learn about pain, suffering, peace and pleasantness.
The collection of what you’re learning create a particular and unique perspective on living.
Often the jarrings of life create a jaded outlook that leans heavily into protection and safety, resulting in efforts to avoid or eliminate pain and betrayal.
But honestly, you can’t avoid the nature of life .
The world is a world of forces that pull and push you.
And there are 3 forces.
We are familiar with 2 main forces - the positive and negative. And we are highly influenced by both of them.
The third force is often ignored, forgotten or not even seen. We’re not educated about the 3rd force in life, even though it plays a HUGE part. We’re actually born 3rd force blind.
We don’t see it because the other two are experienced so acutely. Its easy to identify one end of the spectrum from the other. There’s always an invitation to pick side or align against or with something.
Yet, there is the Neutral force. The 3rd force. The force that doesn't swing.
Even the smallest atom demonstrates it: protons, electrons and neutrons.
The THREE enable creation.
The Yes, the No and the Both.
Neutralizing takes the charge out of things.
And it can be a true relief to take a rest from the swing of the pendulum.
Think about the polarity of positive and negative, and then think about what holds them in place. What stabilizes it? The presence of all three forces.
You’ve got to have neutral there too.
Even the physics of a pendulum requires something to hold the line to allow the movement.
The swing happens with the neutral holding a unmoving place.
It takes neither side, thus it allows for both.
Bringing yourself into neutrality does not mean acquiescing or anchoring. It means allowing the swing to happen without you being caught up in it.
