Across the death positive movement, women have been leading the way toward funeral practices that demonstrate how caring for the earth is deeply intertwined with caring for one another.

Throughout the month, we’ll highlight the innovators, artists and advocates showing us that sustainability can be one of the most profound expressions of love and community care.

Josh graduated from University of Redlands with his masters of business administration in 2013. Since then we loved visiting small businesses, restaurants, friends and colleagues in Redlands. Last year we decided we loved it so much we wanted to open a satellite office here in town. The Redlands office is now open for business! We are excited and thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community. ✨

Ownership matters. We are proud to be family owned. 🫶

I remember when funeral homes were owned by the families whose names were on the sign. I was fortunate enough to work during that era, back in the late 1900s 😉

You thought you knew who you were dealing with. You thought you knew where the money stayed. You thought you knew who was accountable.

Sometimes all that changes silently and the only thing that looks different is the branding, and even then maybe not for years after acquisition.

Same building. Same chapel. New ownership quietly entering behind the scenes.

Everything looks and seems the same. Until one day, the prices raise. Quotas are implemented. The people are replaced. The connections are lost.

If you’re planning ahead, or walking into a funeral home for the first time, ask the questions people don’t think to ask.

Ownership matters.
Especially here... and now.

This cool dude decided to setup shop at our mortuary in Hemet the past few days. Super sweet doggo, going through a little bit of a ruff patch. If anyone recognizes him or may be interested in adopting, he was picked up by animal control today and is on his way to the shelter. ❤️🐶

Saturday!!! We will have the mortuary opened up for restroom use, parking and warmth. We will have a hot coco bar set up and serve coffee and snacks. We are right in front of the parade route. Stop by and say hi!!! 🎄
