The ego usually hates Presence in Action because it wants to get to the next thing. It views the present moment as an obstacle to be overcome. When you feel that inner tension, the feeling of "I need to get this over with", you’ve identified the ego.
​Simply noticing that tension is presence. Once you see it, you can drop the resistance and return to the task.
