Please join us in congratulating Skip Irland on his well-deserved promotion to Battalion Chief! Chief Irland has dedicated over 20 years of service to the Hemet Fire Department, leading with integrity, professionalism, and a true commitment to our community.

His experience, leadership, and mentorship has shaped generations of firefighters within our ranks. We’re proud to see him take on this next chapter and continue guiding our department forward.

Firefighters from across the state gathered to honor 30 California firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

Families of the fallen were recognized at the California Firefighters Memorial Ceremony, where their loved ones’ names were added to the memorial wall in Sacramento.

HFFA members stood proudly among brothers and sisters in the fire service — honoring the fallen, supporting their families, and upholding the traditions that unite us all.
