Did You Know?
Spiritual growth is achieved in the midst of discomfort. We must live a life of faith through God's Grace. Philippians 3:10 says, "I want to know Christ, yes to know the power of his resurrection and participation in the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death". Not meaning that we must suffer as Christ suffered. Let's be honest most of us would not be able withstand such persecution. The key element is fellowship. Christ has already done His part with the grand finale being his dying on the cross. He said, "it is finished" John 19:30. Our part in this fellowship is to maintain and carry on our part. We do this by standing in victory in the midst of adversity. We must stand firm on God's word which is all truth. Therefore, we are to live our lives in such a way that no matter what we face, we WIN. This is pleasing to God. The words of our mouth must be mixed with faith otherwise they are of no effect. It is His amazing Grace through faith that gives us access to the keys of the kingdom. Our greatest lessons in life are as a result of our brokenness. This is usually the catalyst that causes us to turn our face, hands and hearts to God. To talk to him, commune with him to listen for his voice. Our relationship with Him begins to grow and we experience the power of God working in our lives. We then testify of who God is and his unfailing love for us because of the experiences we have endured. Let us continue to cultivate our relationship with God every day so that he may be glorified in the earth. May the peace and favor of God be with you all!
