The Discovering the Deep Core series is exploring the connection between a healthy resilient pelvis, whole body breathing and moving with clarity and wisdom.

In this course we use anatomical models, movement and imagery to access a deeper understanding of our core. It is very common to identify the core as the abdominals, however, that is only part of the picture. There is something deeper. We will refine our awareness of the core to include the "deep core" which involves the pelvic floor, pelvic walls, the deepest abdominal layer, psoas, multifidus, and respiratory diaphragm. No idea what some of these are? No worries! That is what this course is about...taking you on an internal journey to discover your deep, woven, resilient, core and how this new awareness allows you to move with clarity, wisdom, and confidence.

🦴 Everyone benefits from stronger bones....a yoga practice mindful of how to bear the weight of your own body effectively to build stronger bones is a great way to do it!
🦴 This class is for ALL BODIES of ALL AGES and no previous yoga experience is required. You are really never too young to begin keeping your bones strong and vital. Most people do not get tested for bone health until they are in their 60s. Let's not wait to find out - we will learn practices NOW to keep our bones strong, resilient and healthy.
🦴 In addition, this class is safe ✨and imperative!✨for people who have a diagnosis of osteopenia and/or osteoporosis (low bone density). Not only will we improve posture and learn how to practice movements safely to prevent fractures but we will also work with balance to prevent falls.

Badass Longevity Training taking it to the next level starting Tuesday Feb 3 at 5:30pm because old age is NOT synonymous with poor balance, having to take the elevator instead of the stairs, needing to use your arms and momentum to get out of your chair or letting go of getting down to and up from the floor.
❓ Why wait until you are 50 (or any other random age) to discover your balance is poor or that your hips have become so weak that are using compensatory movements to get out of your chair?
💪🏼Let's start training NOW to be badass old ladies that are still doing all the things we want to be doing for as long as we are breathing!

This 4 week course focuses on leveling up our dynamic aging skills. We will develop strength, mobility, balance and resilience from the ground up.

Week 1 - Badass Core Stability! We will play with various ways to build amazing - badass - core stability to support all your movement.

Week 2 - Badass Balance! We will focus on enlivening our feet and play with various ways to develop, maintain and improve our balance.

Week 3 - Badass Bone Density! We will explore ways to maintain and build badass bone density with low-to-no impact options for everyone.

Week 4 - Badass Mobility! We will play with movement sequences that build on our stability and expand our range of motion.

The Badass Dynamic Longevity series focuses on all the movement skills needed for healthy dynamic aging. The class is for people of all ages (20 - 120!) because it is never too early to learn what you need to know to keep it all moving well as time goes on and it is also NEVER TOO LATE. Learning about your body as it is in this moment, exploring and playing through movement, adapting and modifying as needed is the name of the game.

What IS Yoga for Pelvic Health? Simply, it's learning to move with clarity and wisdom.

The PELVIS is our center for stability. It's the foundation of our core - it's the deep core! The pelvis supports all of our movement.

YOGA is a practice of cultivating and expanding awareness.


In this 5 class series: Fridays 5:30-7pm Jan 23 - Feb 20 we will be learning and developing awareness about the pelvis and all the surrounding structures including bones and soft tissue. We will learn how these structures (read: feet, legs, spine and soft tissue) affect the pelvis and how the pelvis affects them and supports our movement. We will learn to move with clarity and wisdom. This includes your daily functional movement and any movement practices or sports you engage in.

No previous experience with yoga is needed and all the postures we will use in the class are very accessible to most all bodies and I am the queen of modifications and alternatives if something isn't right for you in the moment!
