• Mass of Christian Burial:
St. Ladislaus Thursday, September 11, 12pm

Katherine Johnson was a Black American mathematician whose calculations of orbital mechanics as a NASA employee were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. spaceflights. The film “Hidden Figures” was based on Johnson’s work with NASA.
